Abortion, the issue of which has been controversial since the 60's. But it shouldn't be. I'm strongly pro-choice, but I'm also anti-taxation. I believe that a woman is entitled to as many abortions as she can afford, but she must pay for them herself. A woman's reproductive health is hers, and hers alone.It is up to her, whether or not she will look after her own reproductive health, and nobody, not taxpayers, not husbands, not boyfriends, not corporations (or anyone else's) is obligated to aid her in the protection of it.
I do strongly support the idea that resources should be created where women could access contraceptives, education, and abortions, but those must be accessed at their own expenses.
The reason that most of today's liberals are disgusted at this idea, stems from their belief that healthcare is a human right -- it isn't.
